    Hi there! My name is Marissa Luigi, and I am the founder of Energy Yoga & Wellness. My passion for fitness, yoga and wellness began when I was young and has been growing ever since. After years of practice, I decided to open a studio to share the joy of yoga and movement with others. I believe that yoga has the power to help people on both a physical and mental level, and I strive to create a welcoming, safe space for my students to practice, grow and heal from the inside out. I’m excited for what the future holds for our studio and the people who come to practice!

  • Hi, I’m Lisa Bianco, a 200hr certified yoga instructor & Life Coach who has a passion for helping people who might fear starting a yoga practice. I was once hesitant about starting yoga myself 25 + years ago! I soon discovered that it’s not about being perfect or flexible. It’s about finding peace and balance in your mind, body, and soul. My goal is to help everyone enjoy the benefits of yoga, no matter their experience level. I offer gentle, introspective, and non-judgemental classes where you will leave feeling rejuvenated from the inside out.

  • I have been pole dancing for over 10 years at 3 different studios, under a variety of teaching styles. I come from a dance background, but one of physical strength. As a result, I have a wealth of knowledge both on a variety of ways to get into a trick and on what muscles and exercises we need to train for you to build strength to safely achieve your goals. My ultimate goal is for you to have fun and feel successful.

  • Kayla was introduced to physical exercise at a young age, which sparked her passion for movement and eventually led her to yoga, pole fitness and other aerial arts. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she began backpacking the world and exploring foreign cultures. She has spent extended periods of time studying and living nomadically in Asia, Central America and South America, where she began connecting to her highest self, living in her authenticity and expanding her consciousness. Today, she intentionally continues on a path of self discovery and expansion, sharing her passions and empowering others to do the same.


  • Hi there! Meet our instructor Ashley. Ashley is a Master Certified life coach as well as a RYT 200hr certified yoga instructor. She is passionate about sharing the journey of yoga with you and empowering you to release limiting beliefs.

FAQs

  • When deciding what to wear, it's important to consider comfort and breathability. Clothing that is too tight or restrictive can make it difficult to move and be uncomfortable during the class. Loose fitting, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely is the best option. Consider wearing a breathable tank top or t-shirt, sweat-wicking shorts or leggings. No shoes are allowed to be worn in the studio room, unless it is medically necessary.

    For Pole Fitness classes, it is suggested to wear shorts, layer over with pants, as well as a comfortable shirt/ tank.

  • Hello! For yoga class, it's a good idea to bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a towel. Comfortable clothing like leggings and a t-shirt or tank top is also recommended. You may also want to bring a yoga block or strap to assist with poses. Finally, don't forget to bring a positive attitude and an open mind! Have a great class! :)

  • Absolutely! Yoga is a great practice for those who aren't very flexible. It can help you increase your flexibility and strength gradually over time. There are plenty of beginner yoga poses that are designed specifically for those who are just starting out, so don't worry about being too stiff or inflexible. It's all about starting where you are and taking it one step at a time. Enjoy your practice!

  • Hello there! It is generally recommended to eat something light about an hour before a yoga class, such as a piece of fruit or a snack that is low in fat and sugar. Doing so will give you the energy to get through the class and also help prevent any dizziness or lightheadedness during the practice. The amount of time you should wait between eating and beginning your practice depends on how much you ate and how quickly your body digests food, so it's best to eat a snack at least an hour before class.

  • Cancellation must occur 4 hours prior to class start time. If you do not show up for class and have not cancelled in advance, you will be fully charged for the class that you do not attend or the class will be removed from your package. Students with unlimited packages will be charged the single drop-in rate for no-showing to a class under these terms.

    Workshop and event cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved workshop or event. If you do not attend or cancel within 24 hours of start time, you will be fully charged for the workshop and will not be able to use the credit for a future workshop.

    Workshops, events and trainings are non-refundable.
